Your Role

The Sr. Manager Growth Strategy will run the marketing P&L and growth engine for one of O Positiv’s product lines. This is a highly strategic and analytical role and features quick feedback loops to see the real impact of key decisions and strategies.

This role will own marketing and sales activities to drive customer demand and acquire new customers for O Positiv and to increase customer retention and satisfaction. This role will own marketing strategy, campaign development and testing, retention and upsell strategy, performance analysis, and will be a key player in the launch strategy for new products in their category.

We are looking for someone who is hyper-analytical and data-obesessed, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate will be able to manage and own performance across acquisition and retention channels, can effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and should ensure all projects are executed within deadlines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and startup culture, and is excited to set and meet aggressive goals.

This role reports to the Head of Product Growth (ex-Bain) and will be highly cross-functional, collaborating closely with the acquisition, retention, digital, and creative teams at O Positiv.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design effective acquisition strategy, including messaging angles, channel investment, and ongoing performance management
  • Deploy large budgets in performance media campaigns on major marketing platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok
  • Create customer journeys to retain and reactivate customers and to increase customer spend with O Positiv to maximize customer lifetime value
  • Collaborate with the email team to define email campaign strategy and messaging
  • Analyze key performance metrics, identify impactful insights, and convert those insights into material performance improvement and growth for category
  • Partner with the go to market team to design successful performance for new products launched in category
  • Produce effective and high quality analyses to generate key insights for strategic projects for the marketing team

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
    • 3+ years experience in an analytical and strategic role
    • Proficiency building out excel analyses
    • Understanding of wellness or CPG brands from a consumer perspective
  • Interpersonal:
    • Strong leadership & communication skills: listen, mentor, and teach by example
    • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
    • Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to different audiences
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn
    • Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
    • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up
  • Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
    • 2+ years experience at a top tier management consultancy or investment bank
    • Prior experience in e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing
    • Startup experience is a plus
    • Passionate about women’s health

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $140,000 - $170,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

  • Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
